You are aware that the one Bank privilege of issuing such Notes has already been accorded to ... in the Colony and their circulation has been found to be of very great convenience to the Public generally. In as much as this Bank contributes largely to the revenue of the Colony for the issue of its Notes and as I am desirous of obtaining concession already granted to another Corporation, I trust His Excellency the Governor will address the Home Authorities in support of my application and beg that His Excellency will bring the matter to His Lordship's notice with this object in view.
